    On Sunday, the Electoral Commission announced the details of its practices during the last period.

    The commission stated in a statement that Nass received a copy of it, May 1, 2022, that "based on the decision of the Council of Commissioners, a committee was formed under a ministerial order issued by the Chairman of the Council of Commissioners, Judge Jalil Adnan Khalaf, to review and study the legal framework related to the work of the Commission (the Commission Law). With the support and support of the security institutions to register voters in displacement camps and state institutions, as it resulted in the registration of (49,849) voters and the distribution of (70,235) biometric cards in the presence of (168) local observers and (104) political party agents.     While she indicated that "under the guidance of the head of the electoral administration, Judge Amer Musa Al-Husseini, field follow-up continues to the registration centers spread throughout Iraq by specialized staff in the field of electoral procedures and training in the commission to supervise their work and overcome obstacles that may face work."  
      
    She also added, "In the field of electoral education, the Electoral Commission continues to send awareness messages to urge voters to review registration centers and through various media, in addition to seminars held by provincial electoral offices in official and semi-official institutions to contribute to spreading electoral awareness, in addition to direct meetings with leaders The security services urge their members to retrieve the biometric cards withdrawn on the special voting day.  
      
    On the other hand, the Department of Political Parties and Organizations works through its specialized divisions in the governorate offices to follow up and evaluate the work of registered political parties through field visits to party headquarters, as well as continuing to supervise the various party conferences.  
      
    She stressed that the Electoral Commission has been "sending the quarterly report to the Iraqi Parliament, which includes the activities and achievements of the departments, divisions and people in the National Office and the electoral district offices, based on Article 10/15 of the Commission's Law No. 31 of 2019 which stipulates "preparing quarterly reports on the work of the Commission." and submit it to Parliament.  
      
    The Electoral Commission has also prepared all the electoral supplies and materials necessary for the elections of the Popular Writers Association in Iraq, which was held on April 25, 2022. The association was contacted through the Baghdad / Rusafa electoral office.
