The President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih, affirmed today, Sunday, that justice for the Speicher victims is the least duty towards them, pointing to the importance of national solidarity to consolidate a capable state that protects its citizens.
The President of the Republic said in a tweet on Twitter, "We remember the tragedy of Speicher, the genocide committed by the terrorist Daesh against our youth, and the crime that humanity deplores."
He stressed, "Doing justice to the victims is the least duty, and the Presidency of the Republic had the honor to present a law that guarantees their rights."
He pointed out that "national solidarity to consolidate a capable state that protects its citizens to prevent the recurrence of tragedies is the greatest appreciation for the martyrs."
