Shafaq News / The Head of the Integrity Committee of the Iraqi Parliament, Representative Nahida Al-Dayni, revealed on Monday that there are fraud and money laundering operations in private banks inside the country.
Al-Dini confirmed, during her interview with Shafaq News Agency, that the follow-up to the work of private banks will take place in the coming days, after information was received about the existence of forged invoices and networks conducting money laundering.
The head of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee indicated that the authorities involved in money laundering and forgery were not "identified and known until the verification and investigation processes are completed by the competent committee, through which the necessary measures will be taken."
