    A member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Mahmoud Khoshnaw, confirmed that the candidate for the presidency of the republic should be passed through the national space, as it is an important constitutional institution in the country, pointing out that the Union is keen for an honest personality to assume the position of the presidency and finds this personality in Barham Salih It represents all Iraqis.

    Khoshnaw told Al-Maalouma, "The National Union and the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, do not count on the withdrawal of the Sadrist bloc in order to obtain positions."
    He added that "the National Union is looking for a supplement to the constitutional benefits, especially as the citizen is looking for the formation of the government, as the Union hopes that there will be a participation of the Sadrist movement in forming the new government with other parties, as well as in parliamentary work, in order to strengthen the government."
    And he indicated that "the harmony of the framework, the trend, determination, sovereignty, union and democracy with independent representatives and emerging movements, all of them can form a strong government that achieves something for Iraq and its people."
    He stressed that "Barham Salih should be passed through the national space, especially as he possesses the national, constitutional and legal qualifications, to obtain the position of the most important constitutional institution, as this personality enjoys the acceptability of the Iraqi forces and components, as the passing of the President of the Republic is not limited to a specific party or component," explaining that "The National Union will not give up on Barham Salih's candidacy for the presidency." finished 25
