The head of the Badr Parliamentary Bloc, Mahdi Taqi Amerli, called, today, Friday, to proceed with the procedures for questioning the Ministers of Oil and Electricity as a result of their fabricating the electricity and fuel crisis in many Iraqi provinces, stressing the need to take firm and decisive action towards the ministries of Oil and Electricity.

Amerli said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, "The ministries of Electricity and Oil are creating an intentional crisis during this period by reducing the fuel quota, which has caused a stifling crisis in many provinces, especially Kirkuk, Salah al-Din, Baghdad and Dhi Qar, which is now suffering from an acute shortage of gasoline." He considered these actions "a deliberate attempt to ignite the street."

He added, "The Badr bloc will interrogate them, even if it is necessary for the procedures to reach immediate dismissal and accountability, as they are negligent in performing the work of their ministries," noting that "the price of gasoline per liter exceeded more than one thousand and 500 dinars in Kirkuk governorate, and this is a clear injustice against the sons of Kirkuk." the Iraqian people".
