MP, Mohammed al-Ghazi, on Thursday, the intention of parliament to question six ministers of the government Adel Abdul Mahdi.
"There are six requests submitted to the Presidency of the House of Representatives to question the ministers of oil, foreign affairs, communications, finance and two other ministers," Ghazi said, adding that "the presidency of the parliament referred these requests to the parliamentary chamber for consideration before deciding."
He added that, "the parliamentary chamber is still in the study of these files transmitted to them by the Presidency of the Parliament," likely to "complete these files during the coming periods to determine the dates of interrogations in parliament."
"There is a big campaign to question as many executives as possible by members of the House of Representatives in the coming period," Ghazi said.
He pointed out that "these interrogations will prove that the legislative authority continues to hold accountable those who are unable to provide services to citizens."
