Ali Al-Karaawi, a member of the rights movement, said in an interview with the “Information” agency, that “those who demand the exit of the popular crowd from Diyala are only evidence of the existence of external links aimed at the return of ISIS again.” to the liberated provinces.
He added that "the American forces are transferring ISIS from Syria to Iraq with the aim of reviving the terrorist organization again," noting that "the popular crowd repels dozens of terrorist attacks daily in various sectors."
Al-Karaawi explained, "The Popular Mobilization Forces are an official government force within the state's institutions, not an external force to set the political mood even when it wanted to remove it and resolve it," noting that "those who demand the removal of the crowd from Diyala should demand the expulsion of the occupying American forces from Iraq instead of provoking sectarian strife."
