The bank's sales in a week exceed one billion and 300 million dollars
Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq's dollar currency sales rose during the past week to more than one billion and 300 million dollars.
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that during the past week, the Central Bank sold 1 billion and 329 million and 780 thousand and 698 dollars for the five days in which the auction was opened, starting from Sunday to Thursday, at a daily rate of 265 million and 956 thousand and 139 dollars, an increase of 5.58% over the previous week. ".
Our correspondent added that the highest dollar sales were on Wednesday, when sales amounted to 274 million and 161 thousand and 227 dollars, while the lowest sales were on Thursday, when sales amounted to 260 million and 594 thousand and 22 dollars.
He pointed out that most of these sales went in the form of remittances abroad to finance foreign trade, while the selling price of the dollar transferred to bank accounts abroad, in addition to the cash sale, amounted to 1460 dinars per dollar.
