Today, Saturday, the House of Representatives began holding its session devoted to discussing the Turkish bombing of Dohuk governorate.

Parliament media said, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, that "the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, opened the work of session No. 1, in the second legislative term."

He added, "The number of attendees in the parliament session is 242 deputies."

The House of Representatives had set, earlier, today, Saturday, a date for a session to discuss the Turkish attack on Dohuk governorate, which killed nine citizens and wounded 29 others.

Iraq turned to the UN Security Council, asking it to hold an emergency session, to discuss the repeated Turkish attacks on Iraqi territory.
