    Erbil (Kurdistan 24) - Today, Monday, the city of El Alamein is witnessing a five-year Arab summit, led by Egypt, called for by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which includes leaders of 5 countries: Egypt, the UAE, Bahrain, Iraq and Jordan.
    The summit represents an extension of the many meetings held by Arab leaders over the past months, for coordination, consultation and consensus of visions among them.
    The Five-Year Arab Summit will be held today, Monday, in the city of El Alamein in Marsa Matrouh, in the presence of President Sisi, "the country inviting the summit" - Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, President of the United Arab Emirates - King Abdullah II of Jordan - Mustafa Al-Kazemi, Prime Minister of Iraq - and Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Malik the two seas.
    The summit will discuss the current developments in the Arab world in light of the current crises and problems, including the repercussions and effects of the Russian-Ukrainian crisis on the countries of the region, the current crisis in Iraq, the situation in the Palestinian, Libyan and Yemeni arenas, and the crisis and repercussions of the third filling of the Renaissance Dam.
    And the Iraqi News Agency quoted a government source, that Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi will visit Egypt today, Monday, to participate in a mini-Arab summit, noting that Al-Kazemi will confirm the Iraqi government's endeavor to continue to support dialogue between brothers in the region.
    The source added, "Al-Kazemi will confirm to the mini-Arab summit, the Iraqi government's endeavor to continue supporting dialogue between brothers in the region, and Iraq's keenness to continue the policy of balance in relations and security stability in the country, as well as its determination to enhance the role and status of Iraq at the Arab, regional and international levels for the benefit of the people." Iraq and the peoples of the region and the world.
    The summit comes about a month after an Arab-American summit hosted by Saudi Arabia, with the participation of the same countries, along with other Arab leaders.
