Oil: promising plans to develop the national pipeline network

On Saturday, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Liquidation and Distribution Affairs Hamid Younis affirmed the ministry's keenness to develop and modernize the national pipeline network and infrastructure for the oil sector due to its importance in enhancing and sustaining storage capacities and to achieve high flow in the mechanisms and operations of pumping and distributing oil and its derivatives through its specified paths.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Oil, this came during Yunus presiding over the 31st meeting of the company’s board of directors, and Younis stressed “the importance of the promising plans for the oil pipelines sector to sustain production, liquidation and feeding other sectors with crude oil or petroleum products,” praising “the national experiences that the company possesses in developing Infrastructure of the oil pipelines network and warehouses and moving forward to improve the reality of its work and implement the tasks entrusted to it to support the national economy and the service sector.
The Deputy Director General in charge of managing the company, Majed Abdel Reda, said, "The national staff is working according to pre-prepared plans to develop pipeline networks, rehabilitate those affected by them, lay new pipes, and increase storage capacities in their warehouses spread throughout the country to secure fuel for consumers, electric power production stations and vital sectors in the service of the public interest. ".
According to the statement, "during the meeting, the agenda for developing plans and studies for the development of the long-distance pipeline network in the country and the problems, obstacles and challenges facing the work to provide effective solutions to them were discussed."
