The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq receives the Special Representative of the United Nations

His Excellency the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Mr. Mustafa Ghaleb Mikhaif, received today, Wednesday, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Mrs. Jeanine Plasschaert. During the meeting, they discussed the financial and economic conditions and their development in the interest of Iraq. His Excellency stressed that the Central Bank of Iraq launched development initiatives amounting to (18) trillion dinars, which contributed to moving the wheel of the Iraqi economy, and provided thousands of job opportunities.

His Excellency stressed the need to advance the reality of the financial and banking sector in line with international standards.
