Parliament is hosting the first two ministers from the Sudanese government
Shafaq News/ Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi announced, on Tuesday, the hosting of two ministers in the government of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani.
Al-Halbousi said in a brief statement received by Shafaq News Agency, "The parliament will host the ministers of agriculture and water resources within the first paragraph of the agenda for next Thursday's session, to discuss the agricultural plan and the problem of water scarcity and solutions to address it."
In turn, the deputy from Dhi Qar Governorate, inside Radi, said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, that "hosting the ministers of water resources and agriculture will witness a discussion of the problem of water scarcity that many regions suffer from in the country, especially the regions of Dhi Qar Governorate and its marshes."
He pointed out that he called earlier on the Presidency of Parliament to give the problem of drought special importance as it has become a threat to the lives of the population in the regions east and southeast of Dhi Qar, which has become completely devoid of any activity and the people there have lost the necessities of life represented by agriculture and animal husbandry, as well as the lack of life in The province's marshes.
