The Ministry of Agriculture announced, on Wednesday, the payment of farmers' financial dues for the yellow corn crop for the current agricultural season.
The ministry said in a statement, "This batch is the second batch and a continuation of the first batch of disbursing the dues of yellow corn marketers, 50% for the current agricultural season, and according to the priority of marketing for the dates of their transactions with the sites and laboratories, receiving the crop."
The ministry called on farmers who have unspent financial dues to "go to the maize factories affiliated with the Mesopotamian General Seed Company to receive their financial dues from the concerned parties, and to accompany their original identification documents." End/25
