    Today, Wednesday, Iraq, represented by a delegation headed by Minister of Labor Ahmed Al-Asadi, participated in the meetings of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs for the 24th session held in the Qatari capital, Doha.
    Al-Asadi said on the sidelines of the session’s meetings, in a statement received by the National News Center: “This meeting confirms the keenness of the Arab countries to support trends that target the poor segments, not to mention the segment of the disabled and childhood,” noting that “attending such meetings is a continuation of what we are doing in Iraq is one of the efforts to serve the poorest segments and regions. 
    The Minister of Labor stated that "the Doha meeting aims to reduce poverty rates and is a new start to focus on the most important issues affecting the Arab citizen."
