, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani directed, on Thursday, to audit the revenues generated by mobile phone companies.
A spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Haider Majeed, said, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani directed the legal department in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to cooperate with the competent judicial authorities to follow up on the issue of auditing revenues generated from mobile phone companies, and to submit recommendations to the Prime Minister within a maximum of 30 days.” starting from the date of issuance of this Directive.
Majeed added, in an interview with the official news agency, which was followed by Mawazine News, that "this directive was issued during the fifth regular session of the Council of Ministers, which was held last Tuesday." Ended 29/N33
