    The Council of Ministers, during its session held today, Tuesday, issued several decisions, including approval of reducing the exchange rate of the dollar to 1,300 dinars.[/size]
    [size=45]A statement by the media office of the Prime Minister, received by (Baghdad Today), said, “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani presided today, Tuesday, the sixth regular session of the Council of Ministers, during which various issues and developments in the country were discussed, topics on the agenda were discussed, and decisions and recommendations were issued.” about it.”[/size]
    [size=45]According to the statement, the session witnessed a discussion of the repercussions of the rise in the exchange rate of the dollar in the market, and its negative repercussions on the general reality in the country.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added, “In order to mitigate its effects on citizens and various economic sectors, the Council of Ministers approved the decision of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Iraq to adjust the exchange rate of the dollar against the dinar, according to the following:

    [size=45]Also in the energy file, according to the statement, the Council of Ministers approved the recommendation of the Energy Ministerial Council (23015-d for the year 2023), which provides for the continuation of the final signing and activation of the licensing round contracts for the border blocks and fields (the fifth round), since a very long period has passed since their referral.[/size]
    [size=45]The Cabinet discussed other issues on the agenda, and issued the following decisions, according to what was stated in the statement:[/size]

    [size=45]Third: Approval of allocating sums to each of the governorates (Baghdad, Najaf, Holy Karbala, Salah al-Din) to meet the expenses of visitors on religious occasions.[/size]
