    Shafaq News/ The official spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Government, Jutiar Adel, announced this evening, Saturday, the arrival of a high-level Kurdish delegation to the capital, Baghdad, to resume dialogue on the most prominent outstanding issues between the region and the center, most notably the federal budget and the oil and gas law.



    Adel said in a statement to the official website of the regional government, followed by Shafaq News Agency, "The Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, directed the formation of a delegation headed by Finance Minister Awat Janab, Minister of Electricity and Natural Resources Kamal Muhammad Agency, and the head of the cabinet office of the region, Omid Sabah, in addition to the spokesman On behalf of the regional government and a number of cadres of ministries.
    And he indicated that "the delegation will first discuss the latest developments in the federal budget law and the region's share in it, the oil and gas law, Article 140, and compensation for the people of Kurdistan Region affected by the policies of the former regime."
    He pointed out that "the delegation will remain in Baghdad for several days to discuss these files," adding, "We hope that we will be able to obtain the benefits of the Kurdistan Region through negotiation with the federal government."
    Earlier today, Omid Sabah, the head of the cabinet's office in the region, said, in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, that under the direction of the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, a delegation from the regional government is scheduled to visit Baghdad this evening, Saturday, to negotiate outstanding issues between the two sides.
    He explained that this visit comes within the framework of the official visits of the regional government to Baghdad with the aim of reaching an agreement on the oil and gas law, the budget and financial dues for the Kurdistan Region, in addition to a number of other issues.
    The spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Government, Jutiar Adel, announced at the beginning of February that a delegation from the regional government will visit the capital, Baghdad, to continue the dialogues with the aim of resolving differences and outstanding issues with the federal government and resolving the issue of employee salaries and the region's share in the financial budget for the year 2023.
