    {Politics: Al-Furat News} The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Rashid, affirmed today, Sunday, the will and desire of the central and regional governments to resolve issues through dialogue.

    A statement of his office, of which {Euphrates News} received a copy, stated that: “Rashid received, in the Baghdad Palace, the delegation of the Kurdistan region headed by Interior Minister Riber Ahmed and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they discussed political, security and economic developments, the file of the displaced in the country, and the need to unify efforts among the Iraqi forces to meet the challenges facing the country.
    Rushd stressed, "the importance of continuing consultation and coordination between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to reach real understandings that lead to radical solutions to outstanding issues based on the constitution, the law, and the country's national interest," stressing that "the Iraqis are waiting for important benefits, including approving the budget and the oil and gas law, because they have direct contact." citizens' lives and livelihoods.
    He pointed out that "the federal government and the regional government have the will and desire to resolve issues through understanding and dialogue between the two parties."
    In turn, Ahmed stressed, "the keenness of the Kurdistan Regional Government to reach understandings and radical solutions to outstanding issues with the federal government," referring to the good relations between the two sides.
    While Ahmed appreciated "the position and efforts of His Excellency the President of the Republic in converging views, and his role in resolving problems between political parties, in a way that contributes to the consolidation of security and stability in the country."
