    On Sunday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani, stressed the need for current and future projects to focus on services and address the needs of citizens.
    And a statement from his office, which was received by (Baghdad Today), stated that Al-Sudani: “He chaired the fourth session of the Supreme Commission for Coordination between the governorates that are not associated with a region, during which developments in the general situation in the governorates were discussed, and follow-up on the implementation of decisions and recommendations taken in previous sessions, in addition to discussing issues.” on the agenda and take decisions thereon.
    During the session, the Minister of Electricity reviewed "the ministry's plan for the next summer season, its implementation mechanism with the governorates, and the most important challenges, obstacles, and remedies to overcome it, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Minister of Oil and a number of general managers in the Ministry of Oil. The governors put forward their proposals and needs in the field of securing electric current and maintenance work." .
    The governors also reviewed the projects that were completed in their governorates within a month, which were determined according to priorities included in the government's ministerial curriculum.
    In this regard, the Prime Minister stressed the need for current and future projects to be in the field of services and touch the needs of citizens, and be visible within a short period.
    During the session, according to the statement, "the issue of allocating plots of land for the institutions of martyrs and political prisoners to build housing complexes was discussed."
    He pointed out that "it was decided to form a joint committee in this regard from the Supreme Commission for Coordination between the governorates and the Ministries of Agriculture, Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, as well as the Institutions of Martyrs and Political Prisoners."
