The Federal Integrity Commission reported, on Tuesday, that a recruitment order had been issued against a former general manager in the Ministry of Transport, indicating that the accused had damaged the funds and interests of the entity in which he works.
The investigations department of the authority said, according to a statement by the authority, that "a judge of the Rusafa Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues, issued an order to bring in the director-general of the contracts and licenses department in the former Ministry of Transport, in the matter of the complaint filed against him by one of the companies contracting with the ministry."
The department pointed out that "the accused delayed, procrastinated, and did not conduct and organize an appendix to the contract, as well as not organizing minutes of the meetings held in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Civil Aviation Authority."
The department stated, "The recruitment order against the accused, whose services have been transferred to the Council of Ministers / the Iraqi Scientific Academy, was issued in accordance with the provisions of Article (340) of the Penal Code."
