Today, Monday, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs clarified its procedures against violators of the social protection network.
The ministry's spokesman, Najm Al-Aqabi, said, "The Ministry of Labor checks sections of the beneficiary families' data, so that many of the unworthy are singled out, so that the social protection funds go to the beneficiaries."
He added, "The procedures against the transgressors on the social protection network are to recover the money in full, and people who cannot pay the sums owed by them in one go, can bring a sponsor, so that the amount will be paid in installments."
He pointed out, "The law allows those who violate the social protection network to pay the amounts by installments for a period of 10 years, if the amounts are very large."
And the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced, earlier, that it had detected 163,000 transgressors on the social welfare network.
