Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs revealed its procedures regarding two million applications submitted for inclusion in social care, which Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a al-Sudani ordered to be checked by a field team to sort out the beneficiaries.
The ministry's spokesman, Najm Al-Aqabi, said, "The application for inclusion in the social protection salary is still open until the 22nd of this month."
He referred to "more than two million people applying for social protection," noting that "after closing the application, the intersection will be conducted between the applicants and the screening of those who are eligible, and the inclusion of additional preparations that depend on providing the necessary financial allocations within the 2023 budget."
The Prime Minister had confirmed, after the cabinet session held last Tuesday, that he had held a detailed meeting with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs regarding the protection network, pointing out that there are up to two million requests for the purpose of being included in the protection network and obtaining the monthly subsidy.
