    The decision to restructure laboratories and factories taken by the Ministry of Industry and Minerals prompted the employees of the Diwaniya Textile Factory to protest against the decision, describing it as a war against the national industry.


    Specialists attributed the reasons for the decline of the industry and the losses incurred by most of the factories in the public sector to the failure to activate the law to protect the local product, in addition to opening the borders to the importer without being subject to standardization and quality control standards.
