a member of the House of Representatives, Firas Al-Maslamawi, confirmed today, Thursday, that there is a large influx of members of Parliament for the voting session on the budget to be held today, while pointing out that there is a comfortable majority to pass it.
Al-Maslamawi told the official channel, followed by Mawazine News, that "the parliament building witnesses a large influx of parliament members to attend the voting session on the budget, and there is a parliamentary majority to pass it."
He added, "We expect the budget to be passed today unanimously, and the majority of the blocs, except for the Democratic Party, will attend today's session because of controversial points that have not been resolved and may be resolved, especially since solutions have been agreed upon for 90% of those points."
And he stressed that "approval of the budget cannot be postponed because the House of Representatives is close to the end of the legislative term tomorrow." Ended 29/M99
