On Sunday, the Rafidain Bank issued a statement regarding small business loans amounting to 25 million dinars, while referring to the groups benefiting from the loan and the granting controls.
A bank statement, received by Al-Iqtisad News, stated that "small project loans amounting to 25 million dinars will be granted to citizens, including shop owners, craftsmen, small merchants, retirees, and other professionals."
He added, "The interest rate of the loan is 25 million dinars, which is 6 percent in a decreasing installment, and the repayment period is 6 years, including a 3-month grace period."
He pointed out, "The guarantee of the loan is the guarantee of a guarantor of a civil or military employee from among the citizens, whose salaries are with the bank, or by the guarantee of a real estate mortgage in favor of the bank of the first degree, provided that its estimated value covers the amount of the loan, in addition to 25 percent of the loan value."
He stated, "Applying for the loan should be from the bank's branches scattered in Baghdad and the provinces."
