The Central Bank’s sales in the auction today, Thursday (August 17, 2023), amounted to about $ 192 million, during its auction to buy and sell US dollars.
According to the bank’s regulation, the total sales of the Central Bank of Iraq today amounted to 192 million, 171 thousand and 293 dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1305 dinars per dollar for documentary credits and international settlements for electronic cards and at a price of 1310 dinars per dollar for foreign transfers and at a rate of 1310 dinars per dollar in general. monetary.
According to the table provided to "Baghdad Today", "most of the dollar sales went to reinforce the balances abroad in the form of (transfers, credits) at 158 million 091 thousand and 293 dollars, while the rest of 34 million and 80 thousand dollars went in the form of Cash sales.
