World governments target population growth in order to limit its harmful effects in depleting both available and scarce economic resources. Some determine offspring and others set programs to take advantage of the population abundance in the service of the economy, and in any case, the annual population growth rate is monitored very carefully by the world's governments in order to stave off the risks of population increase, and the resulting sequential effects on a wide range of economic variables. During the last two decades, Iraq witnessed a large and rapid population increase that did not receive the attention of decision-makers. Rather, you see some people surprised by the increase in local demand, poverty and unemployment, and some deplored the expansion of families and the division of housing units into spaces that are not suitable for a decent life.
