Member of the Parliamentary Finance, Nermin Maarouf, announced, on Sunday, that it had obtained the approval of the Central Bank of Iraq to include students studying abroad in order to obtain dollars at the official rate to pay their tuition fees.

And the deputy stated, in a statement followed by “NAS” (August 27, 2023), that “the Central Bank made it clear to us that all students wishing to obtain dollars must submit their applications according to a form approved by the university in which they study in addition to the Iraqi embassy or consulate and present it to one of the banks or branches.” Accredited global financial exchange companies such as "Wester Union and MoneyCram, and after confirming the documents, it is possible to obtain dollars at the official rate."
