Al-Maliki said in a televised interview, "I am afraid that the Ukrainian-Russian war will drag the world into a third world war."
He added, “The American-European side insists on tearing Russia apart, and I know very well that the Russian leadership refuses to be defeated, and if the other side insists on defeating Russia by providing the Ukrainians with advanced weapons, I am very expected that nuclear weapons will find their way into battle.
He continued, "I expect there will be a third world war if there is no European, American, and Russian relaxation and mental thinking to contain the crisis, and this will be a prelude to a new international order against the background of war."
He pointed out, "I expect that the spark of that war will start first from what is happening in Ukraine and the ongoing war between it and Russia and the European-American support for Ukraine, and secondly from the conflict in Taiwan."[/rtl]
