    [rtl]The Iraqi government has put two Boeings stationed in Tunisia up for sale since 1991, three years after an agreement with the North African country to remove the planes expired.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Boeing 747SP-70 YI-ALM, which was owned by the Iraqi government during the reign of former President Saddam Hussein, and Boeing 747 - MSN 22366 owned by the national airline, Iraqi Airways, arrived at Tozeur-Nefta International Airport in Tunisia in 1991 , at the beginning of the Gulf War.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The planes never returned and remained at the airport.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Tunisie Numerique reported that both countries reached an agreement in 2020 to remove the planes and pay the North African country €4.8 million for service and maintenance.[/rtl]
    [rtl]FlightGlobal reports that the planes, valued at $500,000, were set to be auctioned on August 16th but the sale has been pushed back again to the 26th of this month.[/rtl]
