    Today, Saturday, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received the British Ambassador to Iraq, Stephen Hitchen, while “Barzani described his discussions in Baghdad as positive.”


    A statement from Barzani’s office stated, “During the meeting, the two sides discussed controversial issues between the Kurdistan Region and the federal government, especially those related to securing the constitutional rights of the citizens of the region,” explaining that “it was confirmed that the visit of the high-ranking delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government to Baghdad last week and the discussions it held With the three presidencies and Iraqi political parties, regarding securing the financial rights of the region, it is a positive step towards resolving the outstanding problems between the two sides. The
