    [size=45]The Diwaniyah Antiquities and Heritage Inspectorate announced the discovery of 10 undeclared archaeological sites in the Iraqi Diwaniyah Governorate.[/size]
    [size=45]The Inspectorate said in a statement, “In implementation of the directives of the Director General of Investigations and Excavations, Ali Obaid Shalgham, and with the follow-up of the Inspector of Antiquities and Heritage of Diwaniyah Governorate, Bassem Al-Shammari, and through the field survey carried out by the Diwaniyah Inspectorate, a team from the Shamiya Antiquities Supervision Department conducted a field survey of the district, through which 10 sites were discovered.” Undeclared archaeological sites distributed between the two districts of Al-Mahanawiya and Al-Salhiya, which are affiliated with the judiciary.”[/size]
    [size=45]She explained, “This campaign comes as part of the daily tours carried out by employees at the governorate’s monitoring center and controls to inspect archaeological sites, prevent violations, and urge people to preserve them.”[/size]
