Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The Presidency of the Republic called on the international community to preserve “the rights of the Palestinians,” reiterating at the same time Iraq’s firm position on the Palestinian issue.
A presidential statement received by Al-Masala stated: We renew Iraq’s firm position on the Palestinian issue in a way that expresses full support for the Palestinian people in achieving their full legitimate rights, and we strongly condemn the brutal attacks carried out against them.
He continued: We call on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities to achieve justice and guarantee the legitimate rights of the people of Palestine.
