    The police of Ilam Faili Province in Iran announced that the crime of online fraud topped all crimes committed in cyberspace in the province, indicating that it constitutes 55% of all electronic crimes.[/size]
    [size=45]The Iranian Mehr Agency reported in a report the statements of the Deputy Commander of the Ilam Province Police, Colonel Hussein Najafi, in which he indicated that financial fraud operations constitute 55% of the total electronic crimes in the province, indicating that the crimes of electronic fraud, unauthorized withdrawal, and accessing data on the Internet are practiced through Harassment and spreading lies.[/size]
    [size=45]Najafi added that fortunately, about 97% of the cases were detected thanks to the efforts of the police, noting that during the first six months (the Iranian year begins on March 21) more than 900 cases related to Internet crimes were filed with the police, which is a large number compared to the demographic composition of the province. .[/size]
    [size=45]Najafi continued that during the past period, an amount of 87 billion riyals was defrauded against the citizens of Ilam, adding that about 72% of the money that was fraudulently seized was returned to the victims who owned that money.[/size]
