Today, Monday (October 9, 2023), Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed to Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Iraq’s firm position regarding the security and territorial integrity of neighboring countries.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s Media Office, received by “Baghdad Today,” said, “Al-Sudani received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan, and his accompanying delegation.”
He added, "During the meeting, bilateral relations between Iraq and Saudi Arabia and issues of common interest were discussed, in addition to research into the latest developments on the international and regional scene. It also witnessed discussion of the developments taking place in the occupied Arab territories in Palestine, and the repercussions of the events and their effects on the people." "Palestinian."
Al-Sudani affirmed, according to the statement, “Iraq’s firm position regarding the security and territorial integrity of neighboring countries, and its commitment to the principles of good neighborliness and international resolutions in this regard, as well as not allowing its territory to be used to attack any party.”
