Iraqi oil export revenues to Europe recorded a significant decline in September 2023, as they fell by about $570 million, compared to the revenues recorded in the previous August, which amounted to about $2.11 billion.
According to statistics seen by Al-Iqtisad News, the total revenues of Iraqi oil exports during the past month recorded about 9.494 billion dollars, compared to revenues in August 2023, amounting to 8.846 billion dollars.
It is noteworthy that the total revenues from Iraqi oil exports to Europe, during the period between January 2023 and last August, amounted to about 10.92 billion dollars, according to monthly statistics published by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company “SOMO.”
Revenues from Iraqi oil exports to Europe, during the month of September 2023, amounted to about $1.54 billion, down by about $567 million from the revenues of the previous month, which amounted to $2.11 billion, and also lower than the revenues of July, which achieved $1.6 billion.
The quantities of Iraqi oil exported to European markets amounted to about 16.6 million barrels, down by about 9.2 million barrels from the quantities exported during the previous month of August, which amounted to 25.8 million barrels.
