An informed source said that the State Administration Coalition will hold an “important” meeting at the home of the head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, this Monday evening.
The source added, in an interview, that “the meeting will discuss the recent political and security developments in Iraq, the statement of the US State Department, and the repercussions of this statement on the Iraqi interior.”
Yesterday, Sunday, the US State Department ordered the departure of the families of its diplomats and non-essential employees from Baghdad and Erbil. The ministry prevented its personnel in Iraq from using Baghdad International Airport for security reasons.
