    Today, Wednesday, the General Authority of Customs announced the seizure of (88) trucks loaded with various materials in violation of the import conditions and controls in force at the Northern Region Customs.
    The authority stated, in a statement received by Al-Eqtisad News, that “the Investigation and Anti-Smuggling Department in the Northern Region Customs Directorate was able to seize (88) trucks loaded with various materials in violation of the applicable import conditions and controls.”
    She added, "The seized trucks were loaded with alabaster, clothes, a forklift, an energy drink, wood, brush, fertilizer, tires, cashews, sponges, washing powder, shampoo, fabrics, sweets, electrical wires, spare tools, carpets, imported juice, detergents, and a grinding iron, in addition to various other materials."
    The statement indicated, "The seizure operation was carried out in cooperation with the customs police, and legal measures were taken against violations in accordance with the applicable customs law."
