    Shafaq News/ A responsible government source revealed on Thursday that some routine procedures and obligations postponed the regional tour of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani.
    Al-Sudani made a visit to Iran last Monday, as part of a regional tour that also included Gulf countries, to discuss the current developments in Gaza.
    The source told Shafaq News Agency, “The tour is still on, but the visit to the Gulf capitals has been postponed due to the commitments of some of their presidents and kings, especially with the approaching session of the extraordinary session of the Arab League Council at the leadership level, two days later in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will participate.” Iraq there in the presence of the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid.”
    He added, "Communication and coordination are continuing between Iraq and some Gulf countries to arrange the Sudanese visit, and there is nothing preventing it, other than some timing and commitments, especially since there is a great welcome from those countries for the Sudanese visit, and he also intends to launch an Iraqi initiative regarding what is currently happening in Gaza." ".
    During his visit to Tehran, Al-Sudani called for the importance of high coordination between countries in the region regarding the ongoing attacks in Gaza.
    During his meeting with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, he called for "finding quick solutions to stop the aggression and open safe corridors for the delivery of humanitarian aid and urgent relief materials."
