    Information / Anbar..
One of the sheikhs and notables of Anbar Governorate revealed, on Friday, that a mass conference of the ruling party led by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, failed after disagreements and verbal altercations broke out among attendees in the neighborhoods of the city of Ramadi.
Sheikh Abdul Hamid Al-Dulaimi said, in a statement to the Al-Ma’louma Agency, that “disagreements and a verbal altercation occurred between members of the Taqaddum Party and guests who were summoned to a conference held by the party in the city of Ramadi, which prompted the conference organizers to cancel it after a fistfight, fearing it would develop and get out of control.”
Al-Dulaimi added, “The disagreements and verbal altercations came after the debate heated up among the attendees over topics that were initially discussed quietly, but the differences in viewpoints quickly intensified until the situation reached the point of using hands, after which the attendees intervened and ended the dispute temporarily until the conference ended.”
He explained, "The conference turned into a theater for verbal altercations after a crowd of attendees rejected Al-Halbousi's policy and his control over the management of the governorate's affairs in a chaotic manner and his use of his position to exclude his opponents."
He stressed that “the conference showed the extent of the Anbari street’s rejection of the policy of Al-Halbousi and his party in achieving any significant achievement in files that have become forgotten. End / 12a
