Political analyst Ibrahim Al-Sarraj said on Sunday that America worked to move its pawns towards Iraq and its government in an attempt to pressure Baghdad to reduce the severity of the strikes directed by the resistance against American military bases inside Iraq.

Al-Sarraj told Al-Maalouma, “America is a key partner in the crimes committed by the occupation forces against the Palestinian people and the continuous bombing of the Gaza Strip.”
He added, "The White House sent Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to Iraq in order to reduce the severity of the resistance axis' targeting of American military bases inside Iraq, as its targeting comes in response to Washington's continued support for the occupying entity in its war against the Palestinian people."
He stated that "the resistance is targeting the American forces that are present on Iraqi soil at the bases of Ain al-Assad in Anbar, Victoria at Baghdad International Airport, and Harir in Erbil, and there may be secret bases or affiliated with private foreign protection companies." Ended 25 n
