On Tuesday, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, considered the Federal Supreme Court’s decision to terminate his membership in the Council “strange,” accusing parties he did not name of seeking to fragment social components.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Halbousi said in his speech during the House of Representatives session, “There are those who seek to fragment the political components of society.”[/size]
[size=45]He added, “The Federal Court terminated my membership, which is a strange decision, and we are also surprised by the issuance of such decisions and their lack of respect for the Constitution and the commandments, which we do not know where they came from?”, explaining, “We will resort to legal procedures that preserve constitutional rights.”[/size]
[size=45]He continued, "The opposition in its various forms led to the fall of a third of the provinces."[/size]
