    Information/Exclusive:
The leader of the coordination framework, Jabbar Odeh, confirmed on Thursday that there are 15 land crossings that violate the “Baghdad calendar” in the Kurdistan region.
Odeh said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “The presence of land ports in violation of federal laws in Iraq within the Kurdistan region is one of the dangerous issues that must be resolved as soon as possible because it represents an economic drain, especially if it is known that their number reaches 15 according to the information.”
He added, "80% of the materials that violate the government calendar, whether industrial or agricultural, come through the Kurdistan region, which created the principle of smuggling that flooded the markets and caused the transmission of deadly diseases to the agricultural and animal sectors and the closure of hundreds of factories."
He pointed out that "influential political parties and movements in the Kurdistan region benefit from illegal outlets because they generate huge sums of money for their treasuries," pointing out that "the outlets represent a threat to national security, especially since they do not adhere to federal procedures."
Illegal border crossings in the Kurdistan region pose a problem for Baghdad, especially since it is the primary financier of the smuggling file at a very high rate.” End 25 F
