    Baghdad today - Baghdad
The leader in the coordination framework, Ali Al-Fatlawi, confirmed today, Friday (December 22, 2023), that the Baghdad local government will be part of the framework’s share.
Al-Fatlawi said in an interview with “Baghdad Today” that “the Shiite coordination framework, after forming an alliance that brings together all its forces in one bloc in the provincial councils, means that it now has the majority of seats in the Baghdad Provincial Council.”
He added, "The Baghdad local government will be part of the coordination framework because it has the majority of seats," stressing that "there is consultation on this file with the rest of the partners."
Yesterday, Wednesday, the coordinating framework announced the formation of a unified bloc in the governorates to form local councils, a day after the initial results of the governorate council elections were announced.
