    The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, confirmed today, Saturday (December 30, 2023), that the Iraqi people will not accept the presence of foreign forces on their soil, while stating that there is no fear of  ISIS or any danger threatening Iraq due to the presence of the Popular Mobilization Forces.
    Al-Maliki said in his speech during the memorial ceremony held by the Embassy of the Republic of Iran in Baghdad on the fourth anniversary of the assassination of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Qasem Soleimani , that “a nation without martyrs is an empty and weak nation, and it is necessary for the greats to be martyred because they constitute the strong motivation for the nation to keep it on the path.” Principles and values.”
    He added, “ISIS was nothing but a creation created in the sit-in squares by the American administration directly because of our refusal to overthrow the regime in Syria. Because we realized the progress of the entity and the fall of Lebanon and others,” noting that “we made a significant contribution to preventing the fall of the regime in Syria, so they formed ISIS for us and we have information and details about that.”
    He continued, "The process of punishing us continued for more than one goal, which was stopping the arms deals that we bought from them. Had it not been for the effort made by the martyr Soleimani, we would not have been able to do anything, as the weapons would have arrived to us one day after we requested them."
    He stressed, “The martyr Soleimani and his companion, the engineer, were always present with us on the fronts, and the result is that their efforts and the efforts of the Iraqi people in responding to the call of the religious authority were an epic being taught in the world with the strength they represented in preventing any disruption in the country,” stressing that “we no longer fear ISIS.” Or any threat to Iraq due to the presence of the Popular Mobilization Forces.”
    He asked, “Where is the international community regarding the assassination of two great leaders against whom a crime was committed by the President of the United States, who personally supervised the operation?” Adding that: “The Security Council has become a lie, and the values ​​of the international community have fallen after the assassination and the events that followed, leading to the current developments.”
    The former Prime Minister pointed out that “the confrontation in the region is more intense and greater, and what is happening in Palestine and various regions of the world is the best evidence,” adding that “the Security Council is a puppet that no longer has any reality to regulate world affairs.”
    Regarding violations of sovereignty, he said, “American forces are constantly killing our children, and this has transformed them from advisory forces into killers, and the Iraqi people will not accept the presence of foreign forces on their soil.”
    He added, "There is no solution to ending this matter other than withdrawal from Iraqi territory. However, remaining with forces on the ground practicing killing will not end the confrontation between the two parties."
