    The Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Jabr Al-Maliki, discussed today, Sunday, with the delegation of the South Korean company KRE, methods of smart cultivation of tomatoes and rice and advanced storage systems.[/size]
    [size=45]The ministry said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Jabr Al-Maliki, chaired a meeting today with the delegation of the South Korean company KRE, headed by (Quinc - Sek Jan) to discuss methods of smart cultivation of tomatoes and rice and advanced storage systems, in the presence of a consultant.” Prime Minister Hussein Al-Wasiti, the Ministry’s Administrative Undersecretary Mahdi Sahar Al-Jubouri, Counselor Mahdi Damad Al-Qaisi, and a number of general directors and specialists in agricultural affairs.”[/size]
    [size=45]She added, “Al-Maliki listened to an explanation provided by members of the company’s delegation about the technologies used in modern smart agriculture, used in Korea and a number of other countries, and the reasons and details of their use, as they depend on an automatic system through which temperatures and quantities of water can be controlled, especially in the production of fruit and vegetable crops, and it is distinguished by its It reduces effort and contains a special system for fertilization, storage, and use of water,” noting that “the Minister also listened to the attendees’ interventions, which centered on the seeds used, the costs of this method, its environmental impacts, and the scientific aspect adopted in production.”[/size]
