A statement from the ministry received by Alsumaria News stated, “The session discusses many important health items and files related to the Arab brothers and joint cooperation regarding them, and includes more than 24 items for various issues.”
He stated, “On April 17, the initial meeting of the Executive Office of the Arab Ministers of Health will be held in Baghdad, which in turn will discuss the items and recommendations presented by the Arab countries and the reports of the technical committees, and prepare recommendations and decisions, which in turn will submit them to the Ministerial Council, which in turn will hold its session on the following day, April 18.” To discuss and vote on these decisions, in addition to the opening of the Iraqi Pharmaceutical Industries Exhibition.”
According to the statement, the items and files include “a number of common health issues, most notably the health repercussions of the Zionist entity’s attacks on the State of Palestine, especially the Gaza Strip, and providing health support to the State of Palestine.”
According to the statement, the Iraqi government and people express their “full welcome to the Arab brothers in their country, Iraq, and welcome the Arab health ministers and all upcoming guests and delegations that will participate in the meeting.”
