    Economy News - Baghdad
Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, opened a job fair with the participation of 40 institutions specialized in providing training programs.
A statement from the ministry, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, stated that “Minister of Education, Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored graduates of the Jusoor program and initiative and opened a job fair with the participation of forty companies and institutions specialized in providing services and training and development programs.”
He stressed in his speech during the closing ceremony of the Jusoor project, which took place in cooperation with the United Nations World Food Programme, that “the Ministry has the responsibility of providing all institutions of the public and private sectors with outputs qualified for employment and recruitment,” noting that “the Ministry places its focus on the responsibility of expanding the horizons of this type.” It is one of the initiatives that paves the way for job opportunities and enables graduates to chart a specific path for their goals in obtaining jobs that meet their ambitions and suit their educational and academic achievement.”
He added, "Universities, through employment centers, follow up on graduate affairs and are striving to overcome obstacles and contribute to many training programs, including the Jusoor initiative, which represents an organized effort aimed at improving skill and development capabilities, praising the World Food Programme, its international partners, and the Iraqi universities that were part of the program." The success of this experiment.
He continued, "The closing ceremony included speeches by the representative of the United Nations World Food Program and the President of the University of Technology, presentations by partners, and the experiences of a number of graduates of the Jusoor Initiative."
He continued, "Al-Aboudi opened a job fair with the participation of more than forty companies and institutions," noting, during his tour of the fair's corridors, that "the growing rates of Iraqi scientific publishing in international institutions, the success of the (Study in Iraq) initiative, the adoption of the Bologna process in universities, and Iraq's obtaining recognition." The International Federation for Medical Education contributed to raising the level of university outcomes and gave impetus to cooperation with international programs to provide solutions and opportunities for graduates to obtain jobs that are part of a sustainable development environment.”
