    Earlier, the Director General of the Department of Awareness and Information in the Ministry of Environment, Amir Ali Al-Hassoun, revealed in an interview with Al-Sumaria News, that there is a misconception among citizens who believe that mobile phone networks and towers have a significant impact on health, but this issue is not true and we rely on the global systems in place. "The whole world is dealing with how it deals with mobile phone towers," noting that "there are environmental restrictions imposed on mobile phone companies and towers located in residential neighborhoods or outside cities."
